Plans & pricing
How Lumio plans, product allowances, overage rates, and billing work.
Lumio bills per workspace on flat plans with product allowances — not credits. The plan price covers the AI work (scoring, enrichment, voice synthesis) for everything within the allowance. Plans above Free publish a per-product overage rate for catalogs that run over.
Each workspace has its own subscription. An organization can run multiple workspaces (one per store), each on its own plan.
Plans
| Plan | Price | Products included | Overage rate |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 50 | — |
| Professional | $99/mo | 500 | $0.20 / product |
| Elite | $349/mo | 5,000 | $0.15 / product |
Professional and Elite publish a per-product overage rate for products above the allowance, and catalogs that run over keep working rather than getting blocked. For higher volume or custom terms, contact Lumio.

Billing providers
Each subscription tracks how it’s billed:
- Stripe — Workspaces created directly and upgraded to a paid plan are billed through Stripe.
- Shopify Billing — Stores installed via Shopify are billed through Shopify’s Billing API, so charges appear on the Shopify bill.
- Lumio-managed — Free workspaces and any custom or negotiated plans are managed directly by Lumio; these don’t self-serve plan changes.
What happens at the limit
When a workspace nears its product allowance, the Manage page and the sidebar show the current product count against the limit. Scoring and enrichment keep working above the allowance — Professional and Elite carry a per-product overage rate ($0.20 and $0.15 respectively) so an occasional overage doesn’t block the catalog. On Free, the count is shown as a signal to upgrade when a catalog outgrows 50 products.
Plan changes and cancellations
Plan changes are made from Manage and are limited to organization owners and admins — other members see a note to contact an admin.
- Upgrade takes effect immediately. Higher allowances and unlocked features become available right away.
- Downgrade takes effect at the end of the current period. The workspace keeps the higher tier’s features until then.
- Cancel ends the subscription at the end of the current period. The workspace reverts to Free at that point; data is preserved.
Managing the subscription
Manage — reached from the link next to the workspace switcher — shows:
- Current plan, status, and the current billing period (start and end dates)
- Product count vs. plan allowance
- Plan change controls (upgrade, downgrade, cancel), for owners and admins
- A billing history of recent events (created, upgraded, downgraded, payment received or failed, cancelled)
